The weather at the moment in the North West is shall we say changeable, ever since the hosepipe ban its poured down, but so far we have been lucky. Donna & Philips wedding was at the stunning Knowsley Hall, our second wedding there in as many weeks,and when Jane & I left to meet Donna at Knowsley Hall where she was getting ready it was pouring down as we arrived the rain stopped, phew!
Philip is a Director for Arriva buses so guess how the guests arrived at church & Knowsley Hall… yes bus, a red London bus to be precise.
This wedding was a fun casual affair, no time constraints, no formalities, no sit down meal just waitress walking round with canapés ranging from fish & chips & sandwiches’ to gorgeous puddings, with entertainment provided by magicians & musicians, a really relaxed day, infact the only real challenge I had was not mixing the groom with his twin brother who was bestman.
Philip & Donna are fun people & a joy to be with, made even more fun by a 12 min choreographed first dance, this must have taken some practise & was brilliant, I couldn’t stop laughing.
